Who We Are

We are educators, facilitators, storytellers, organizers, strategists, and network builders, rooting our work in A Joy-Based Approach Towards Transformational Change™. Our team has over a decade of experience supporting organizations and communities to connect, collaborate, and build belonging by addressing inequities in systems and environments and designing opportunities for community building.

Our mission is to build spaces of belonging and design opportunities for community building.

We work with partners to thoughtfully craft and design engagements that are creative, inclusive, and meet the needs of their teams and communities. We believe in collaborative partnerships, where we are with you every step of the way, asking all the hard questions, and making sure you arrive at sustainable solutions to your challenges.

Meet the Founders

We’re Odelia and Vina, the co-founders of the Novalia Collective. We are the daughters of refugees and immigrants. The children of the margins and migrations. We came together over our shared love of good food, stories, and social change.

As women of color, we are constantly fighting and striving for collective liberation and channel that into the work that we do. We pride ourselves in taking creative approaches to working with partners and communities to bring their visions of the future into the present. Let’s work and dream together!
